Majority of JDP voters supported Boustany
Eight amendments, school board term limits approved

The majority of voters in Jeff Davis Parish (JDP) showed support for Republican Congressman Charles Boustany Jr. during Tuesday’s election while also giving positive nods to eight of the state’s nine proposed constitutional amendments.
The hard-fought struggle between Republican U.S. Reps. Charles Boustany and Jeff Landry will continue for another month, according to the Associated Press.
