Funeral services will be held honoring the life of Marty Paul Miller, 46, today, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings. He will be laid to rest in Bluff Cemetery with Father Charles McMillin officiating his services.

Visitation was held on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, from 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m., with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Matthews and Son Funeral Home. Visiting hours resumed today, Tuesday, Nov. 6, at 8 a.m. until the time of his funeral services.

Marty was called to his heavenly father on Nov. 4, 2012.

Marty Paul was born in Marrero to the late Hilton and Helen Louise LaCombe Miller on Dec. 24, 1965. He worked as a mud engineer for a petroleum company. He was a very hard worker and loved his job. He enjoyed riding his Harley every chance he got.

Marty is survived by his two daughters, Nancy Gail Miller and Nichole Layn Miller, both of Evangeline; and one sister, Karen M. (Robin) Pelissier, also of Evangeline.

Marty now rests in Heaven with his beloved parents.
