Missing woman found dead
Paulette Thibodeaux, the former Evangeline Elementary School teacher who was reported missing from her home in Broussard on Nov. 9, was found dead late Tuesday morning.
She suffered a self-inflicted fatal injury, according to Broussard Police Chief Brannon Decou.
The chief said Thibodeaux’s body was located in an overgrown area off of Heart D Farm Road in Youngsville.
The 45 year-old woman was reported missing by her roommate on Nov. 9 after she had not been seen in almost two days. Decou previously said Thibodeaux left her vehicle, wallet and cell phone behind but her keys were missing.
