Officer discharges firearm in foot pursuit, no one injured

A simple traffic stop that turned into a foot pursuit Thursday evening resulted in a city officer discharging his firearm at one of two suspects.
No one was injured as a result of the incident; however, Jennings Police Department (JPD) Chief Todd D’Albor said an investigation has been launched to determine if the use of force was justifiable.
