Poker run to benefit COA

Supporters of parish senior citizens are mounting steel horses next weekend to give more elderly access to Meals on Wheels.
The poker run, which will benefit the Jeff Davis Parish (JDP) Council on Aging’s (COA) meal program, is slated for Saturday, Nov. 17. Registration is from 8-10 a.m. at Jennings Travel Center (Shop Rite). Participation fees are $20 per rider and $10 per passenger.
