Welsh residents discuss issues, course of action to address concerns

WELSH – Residents here voiced their opinions on what they believe are the biggest issues in the town and what direction could be taken to address those concerns.

The meeting was hosted by Jeff Davis Parish District Attorney Michael Cassidy and Welsh Citizens Concerned for Public Safety and featured Bill Furlow of Furlow Communications, which specializes in crisis management and community renewal work.

Over 70 residents attended Tuesday’s meeting, with many sharing what they felt could be done to strengthen Welsh.
