Taylor Cox of Jennings announces the birth of her son, Jalyn Cox, born Nov. 10, 2012, at Jennings American Legion Hospital.
Jalyn weighed four pounds, 11 ounces at birth and was 18 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Kheli Boudreaux and Louis Boudreaux, Jr., both of Jennings.
Paternal grandparent is Larry Provost of Jennings.
Great-grandparents are the late Peggie Deshotel and the late Bobby Deshotel of Jennings.
Godparents are Louis Boudreaux and Shelbi Cox, both of Jennings.
