MIDLAND – The Jennings Bulldogs joined the Midland Holiday Spectacular Tournament Thursday by challenging the Rayne Wolves, but fell just short by a 50-47 final score. With the loss, the Bulldogs evened up their record at 6-6 on the season.

In first quarter action, the Wolves struck first with a jumper while the Dogs answered with a Chris Perkins trey. The Wolves built a modest lead with consecutive jumpers for a 10-5 advantage late in the first quarter.
