Dogs split versus Teurlings visitors

The Jennings Bulldogs hosted the Teurlings Catholic Rebels in a non-district showdown Monday and the home team out-toughed the Rebels, 89-77. In girls’ action, the visiting Lady Rebels got passed the Lady Bulldogs, 62-27.
The Lady Bulldogs found themselves behind early, 8-2, but jumpers by Sydni Duplichan helped Jennings pull within four points of the Lady Rebels. The Lady Bulldogs still trailed 5-10 at the end of the first quarter.
