Guidrys celebrate 75th wedding anniversary
Arista and Hazel Guidry of Tee Mamou celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary from 12-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at St. Joseph Family Living Center.
They married Dec. 18, 1937.
Hosts for the event were Margaret Smith, Kathleen Guidry, Celeste Guidry and Corieta Guidry.
The couple’s children include James E. Guidry of Evangeline and Donald L. Guidry and Thomas G. Guidry, both of Tee Mamou.
Arista said if he finds out the secret to such a long marriage, he’ll let us know.
Hazel said it takes hard work and never giving up on the marriage.
