Help available to locals struggling with addiction

Jeff Davis Parish (JDP) is not immune to the effects of drug and alcohol addiction, as many residents struggle daily with chemical abuse issues. But the Jeff Davis Addictive Disorders Clinic (JDADC) is reminding residents that even if sobriety does not seem possible, there can be a light at the end of the tunnel.
Currently located on Shankland Avenue in Jennings, the clinic will reopen at its new location at 223 Academy Avenue at the start of the New Year with a larger building that can accommodate more people seeking recovery.
