Holiday Spectacular hosts post day one wins

MIDLAND – The Rebels and Lady Rebels posted wins to wrap up day one of their own Holiday Spectacular Tournament Wednesday, as Midland’s boys topped Eunice, 67-39, and the Lady Rebels edged out Iota, 53-50.
To kick off tournament play, Jennings and Notre Dame went head-to-head in ladies’ action, with Notre Dame easily earning the 58-12 win. Notre Dame shut out Jennings in the first quarter, 21-0, and never trailed. Sam Lyons and Elise LeBouef led the winning team with 12 and 11 points, respectively, while the Lady Dogs were led in scoring by Racquera Bradley with four points.
