Welsh split a pair of contests at home versus visiting Westlake Tuesday, while Lacassine’s winnings ways continued for both the boys and girls teams on the road at Hackberry. Meanwhile, Lake Arthur’s Tiger teams defended their home court well with a pair of wins over the visiting Elton Indians.
Welsh 46, Westlake 63 (Boys)
The Hounds hosted Westlake Tuesday and overcame an 8-15 first quarter deficit to cut the score to 27-28 at the half. Welsh’s Brandius Batiste led the offensive charge with five first quarter points and eight of the Hounds’ 19 in the second frame.
