Resident shares Medicare concerns
Dear Editor,
People like to talk about all the pork and waste in government spending, but often will overlook programs that actually work, and save money in the process. I’m proud to know we have a strong supporter of the successful Medicare Part B program in Congressman Charles Boustany. I hope that as the country moves forward in dealing with the so called “fiscal cliff”, they keep their hands off of Medicare Part B, which helps individuals with chronic illnesses like cancer, MS, ALS or Arthritis receive the treatments they need so they can stay functioning and independent.
Hopefully, the others up in Washington D.C. see things the same way Congressman Boustany does.
