Roanoke woman arrested in Beauregard homicide

A Roanoke woman has been arrested as a suspect in a homicide that took place in Beauregard Parish on Christmas Eve.

According to Beauregard Parish Sheriff Ricky Moses, Cheryl Schonsby, 50, of 1904 Second Ave., in Roanoke, was arrested Wednesday morning in connection with the shooting death of 53-year-old Jerry Stover of Ragley. Stover was reportedly found shot in front of his home on U.S. 171 in Ragley at around 8 a.m. Monday.
