ROV says early voting turnout has been steady

Jeff Davis Registrar of Voters (ROV) Lorraine Dees said early voting turnout this week has been steady, but much slower than during the recent presidential election.
“Turnout has been good so far,” Dees said. “Of course, it is not as active as it was for the presidential election, but we have been steady with maybe four or five voters coming in at a time, which is still very good because we haven’t had long lines.”
