Ruston James Miller
It is with great sadness that the family of Ruston “Rusty” James Miller announces his passing from this life on Dec. 12, 2012. He was 24 years old.
Funeral services will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at 3 p.m. for all his family and friends to say their final good-bye to this fine young man. Father David Broussard will be officiating his services. Rusty will be laid to eternal rest in St. Jules Cemetery in Tee-Mamou.
Visitation will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of his funeral services at 3 p.m.
Ruston James was born in Crowley to the late Robert Nolan Miller Jr. and the late Vanessa “Totsie” Gotte Miller on Aug. 26, 1988. He worked as a floor hand for Riceland. Rusty enjoyed riding anything with two or four wheels, especially motorcycles, dirt bikes, and four-wheelers. He also loved hanging out with his family and friends. Rusty is survived by his beloved son, Liam James Miller of Pine Prairie; his grandparents, Larry “Roach” Gotte and Laurice Gotte of Evangeline, Donald Petitjean of Duson, Mable Smith Miller Thibodeaux and Thomas Thibodeaux of Lake Charles; and his two brothers and a sister-in-law, Brandon and Andrea Miller of Hathaway and Aaron Miller of Evangeline.
Rusty will be reunited in Heaven with his beloved family who preceded him in death: his parents, Robert and Vanessa “Totsie” Miller; and two of his grandparents, Robert Nolan Miller Sr. and Jane L. Petitjean.
Carrying Rusty to his eternal resting place will be Brandon Miller, Glen Miller, Cameron Gotte, Brady Gotte, Matt Bertrand and Randy Miller. Honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Miller.
