Funeral service for Sharon Gail Johnson Castille, 63, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Mount Triumph Baptist Church in Jennings.  Burial will be in Benevolent Cemetery under the direction of Fondel Memorial Chapel.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 8 a.m. in the church.

Mrs. Castille, of Sherwood, Ark., passed away on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012. She was born in Jennings to the late Chester O’Brien and Ada Cooper. She retired from the Pulaski County Special School District as a Dietary Manager. After retirement she volunteered at Baptist Medical Center in N. Little Rock, Ark. Sharon was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 30 years, Gregg Castille Sr.; four sons, Derrick (Verna) Obey of Little Rock, Thirlen (Kenya) Johnson of Dallas, Texas, Rendivus Ettienne of Jennings, and Gregory Castille Jr of Sherwood, Ark.; four daughters, Sharron Johnson of N. Little Rock, Ark., MeChon (Derrick) Jones of Sherwood, Ark., Monisha (Calvin) Shropshire of Fort Jackson, S.C., and Nydia Sorg of Burlington, N.J.; 22 grandchildren; one brother, William Gary Cooper of Baton Rouge; and a special aunt, Joyce (John) Bowman of Houston, Texas; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, John William Castille.
