Shop with Cops

Daily News photos by Dona Smith

On Monday, the Jennings Police Department took the Boudreaux family on a shopping spree as part of its “Shop with Cops” program. JPD Police Chief Todd D’Albor said he is proud that his department can give back to children who may not otherwise have a Christmas in the community.

“We want to brighten children’s lives with a great Christmas,” D’Albor said. “We worked with child services, who then referred this family of children who have being going through a tough time.”

The project is funded by the Jennings Police Association, and over $1,000 was spent on the children during the shopping trip Monday.
