WELSH – Depending on changes that might take place in the electricity industry in 2013, officials here could be reevaluating town energy rates.
At a Tuesday night meeting, Jason Guillory, a certified public accountant with McElroy, Quirk and Burch, presented the financial audit report for the town’s fiscal year that ended May 21, 2012. While the report showed the town in good standing, Guillory directed officials to notice that the town’s utility fund, a non-governmental fund, has an operating revenue that “is basically flat.”
