Welsh Christmas celebrations planned

WELSH – Officials and volunteers here are breaking out the Christmas lights and hot chocolate as the town prepares for its annual Christmas parade and celebrations.
According to Welsh City Hall, the annual Christmas parade will kick off at 4 p.m. on South Street, followed by the lighting of the town Christmas tree at City Hall. There, the Welsh High School Band will perform holiday tunes while kids can visit with Santa and enjoy a story time.
