Area births announced
nis Moreau of DeRidder and Taylor Landry of Jennings announce the birth of their daughter, Gwendolyn Rose Landry, born Jan. 7, 2013, at Jennings American Legion Hospital.
Gwendolyn weighed six pounds, one ounce at birth and was 18 3/4 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Kerwin Moreau of Oakdale and Rhonda Moreau of Jennings.
Paternal grandparents are Linda Landry and Jerry Landry of Jennings.
Great-grandparents are Janis Moreau of Welsh, Lee Roy Moreau of Oberlin, Louella Landry of Jennings and Nelson Landry of Hathaway.
Godparents are Norman Moreau of Lafayette, Krystal Moreau of Mamou, Scott Landry of Jennings and Tiffany Landry of Jennings.
