Bulldogs down Saints 73-68

The Jennings Bulldogs headed west to face St. Louis Catholic Wednesday. The Bulldogs battled back from being down 10 points at halftime and got past the Saints 73-68.
In first quarter action, the Bulldogs struck first with a jumper hit by Chris Perkins. The Saints countered that with an inside basket to tie up the game. Malik Williams scored on a look inside that allowed the Bulldogs to retake the lead. The home team responded by going on a 5-0 run and took a 7-4 modest lead in the middle of the first quarter. Jumpers by Chris and Draylan Perkins put the Bulldogs up 10-9.
