Children’s Mardi Gras run set for Feb. 2

ELTON – The day to chase the chickens is almost upon us, and kids as young as three can join in the Fat Tuesday fun here during the tenth annual Children’s Mardi Gras Run.
But adults can pass a good time at the run, too.
“Sometimes the adults have as much fun as the kids,” coordinator Theresa Fontenot said. “It’s a family atmosphere that focuses on teaching our kids about their Cajun heritage and letting them cut loose in the country.”

The deadline to register for the Children’s Mardi Gras Run is this Friday, Jan. 18.
