Work on the city’s project to install a force main line for the sewer system here have been temporarily delayed while awaiting state approval on new equipment.
City Engineer Steve Tate said Tuesday that the project was delayed because a different type of bore needed to be used in order to place the new line under the railroad tracks.
The city began work in September laying the force main line that will help to improve drainage for residents in southwest Jennings.
