Coushatta to host free business workshop

ELTON – The Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana will host a business workshop on Tuesday, Jan. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Coushatta Multi-Purpose Complex, located at 1974 C.C. Bel Road in Elton.
The Coushatta Tribe will host the workshop, “Uniform Commercial Codes: Bringing Business to Indian Country.” According to a press release, the workshop is being presented by the Federal Reserve Banks of Minneapolis, San Francisco and Atlanta, and the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Division of Indian Energy and Economic Development.
