Dogs, ladies fall just short of visiting Rams

The Jennings Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs hosted the Westlake Rams in district nail-biters Friday, but the home team fell just short in both contests.
The Lady Rams squeaked by the Lady Bulldogs, 46-44, while the Rams barely got past the Bulldogs, 61-60.
In the girls’ contest, the Lady Rams jumped scored the first four points before a jumper by Sydni Duplichan put the Lady Bulldogs on the board. The Lady Rams led the Lady Bulldogs 7-5 at the end of the first quarter.
