Edna Rae LeBoeuf
LAKE ARTHUR – Funeral services will be held to honor the life of Edna Rae LeBoeuf, 84, today, Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at 4 p.m. at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Lake Arthur. She was called to her Heavenly Father on Jan. 19, 2013. Mrs. LeBoeuf will be laid to rest in St. Anthony Cemetery with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating her services.
Edna Rae was born in Monroe, Utah, to the late Edward Barney and the late Catherine Loyd Barney on Dec. 11, 1928. She was a retired accountant for Thornwell Warehouse and Petrejean Farms. She enjoyed playing bingo and Scrabble, reading and crocheting. She also loved animals.
Edna Rae is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard Mike and Debra LeBoeuf of Lake Arthur; her daughter-in-law, Debra LeBoeuf of Jennings; her two sisters, Doris (Ken) Potts of Provo, Utah, and Fawn “Toot” Barney of Utah; six grandchildren, Heather, Bennett, Angela, Wendy, Stormy and Misty; and her 20 great-grandchildren.
Edna was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Edward and Catherine Barney; one son, James LeBoeuf; her second husband, Newton LeBoeuf; and one brother, Richard Dick Barney.
Visitation was held today, Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of her funeral services at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Lake Arthur.
