CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held for Elia Marie Royer Sensat, 77, on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Crowley.

Deacon Tom Sommers will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours begin on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will continue on Thursday, Jan. 17, from 8 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Istre Cemetery.

She  died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at 7:20 a.m. in Jennings.

Mrs. Sensat is survived by two sons, Ronald (Mona) Royer of Mire and Lloyd “Joey” (Lola) Nolan of Jennings; one sister, Zulma R. Baker of Crowley; one brother, John Royer of Crowley; three grandchildren, Jeremy Royer, Shannon Mott and Tammy Mott; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Sensat was preceded in death by her parents, John and Emma Clement Royer; her husband, Joseph Dewey Nolan; and one brother, A. J. Royer.
