Heritage Trail Ride Rolls Through Jennings
The Western Heritage Trail Ride made its way through Jennings Monday. The week-long trail ride starts in Gueydan each year, then moves to Lake Arthur, Jennings, Welsh and Iowa. On Thursday, the riders will travel to their final destination in Lake Charles to line up in the parade for the 74th annual Southwest District Livestock Show and Rodeo.
