JDP libraries host Young Readers program

Jeff Davis Parish Library, parish school libraries and Registrar of Voters Lorraine Dees are supporting the Louisiana Young Readers’ Choice Award 2013.
The award is a reading enrichment program of the Louisiana Center for the Book in the State Library of Louisiana, underwritten by Capital One Bank. The focus of the award program is to foster a love of reading in Louisiana children by encouraging children to participate in the recognition of outstanding books, according to a press release.
