Jennings falls to Lafayette Christian in tourney action

MIDLAND – The Jennings Bulldogs faced the Lafayette Christian Knights in the final day of the Midland Spectacular Tournament Saturday afternoon. The Knights got the best of the Bulldogs 74-56.
In first quarter action, both teams traded baskets with the game tied up at six. Jumpers by Draylan Perkins and David Reed put the Bulldogs up a trey late in the first quarter. The Knights converted on miscues by the Bulldogs as they took the lead late in the first quarter. The Knights led the Bulldogs 19-15 at the end of the first quarter.
