Joseph Lessin, known by all as “Factory”, was a lifelong resident of Gueydan. He was born on May 24, 1933. Factory served his country honorably in the United States Army. Following his military service, he worked as a laborer at the Gueydan Co-op for many years. He enjoyed gardening and raising chickens. He was very friendly and enjoyed going to Lougon’s Grocery Store to visit with everyone coming and going. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Factory is survived by one son, Carl Breaux of Gueydan; his three daughters, Dee Dee (Barry) Myers of Lake Arthur, Margaret (Bryan) Faulk of Gueydan and Sandra Nunez, also of Gueydan; and his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Factory now rests in Heaven with his beloved family who preceded him in death: his parents; his spouse, Elda Rae Benoit Breaux; one granddaughter, Miranda Breaux; his son-in-law, Jody Nunez; and one sister, Zin Lege.
