LA announces Mardi Gras activities

LAKE ARTHUR – Krewes throughout the community here are preparing to laissez les bon temps rouler with Mardi Gras festivities kicking off Jan. 26.
Lake Arthur residents will kick off the season with a Mardi Gras Ball, which will be hosted by Lake Arthur Town Councilman Ellsworth Duhon’s “Krewe De Couillon Duhon” and the American Cancer Association (ACA) at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Lake Arthur Community Center on Eighth Street. Donations are $50 per couple and semi-formal dress is preferred. Music will be provided by the Flash Back Band.
