LA cleanup effort ongoing as water slowly recedes

LAKE ARTHUR – Officials here are still waiting for waters in some areas to recede in order to complete cleanup of debris left after the recent flooding.
Mayor Robert Bertrand said Wednesday that all of the water on the streets in town has receded, but the lake is still high.
