LA moving on dilapidated structures

LAKE ARTHUR – The Town of Lake Arthur is working to rid the town of dilapidated and unsightly structures.

At their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, the town council condemned three structures located at 316 Railroad Avenue, 618 G.C. Chaney Avenue and 635 G.C. Chaney Avenue.

The Town of Lake Arthur is working with the property owners of two structures located on G.C. Chaney Avenue as well as this structure on Iowa Avenue after the structures were deemed unsafe by the town’s inspector in December.
