LA requests grant funds for water repairs

LAKE ARTHUR – Officials here are asking the state for help funding the repair of the town’s water tower and a failed valve on a waterline system.
This week the town’s council approved a request for up to $35,000 in grant funds from the Louisiana Division of Administration’s Office (DOA) of Community Development Community Water Enrichment Fund.
