Local man charged with drug possession

A Jennings man was charged Thursday after deputies discovered marijuana in his vehicle during a routine traffic stop.
According to Jeff Davis Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Commander Christopher Ivey, at approximately 3 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17, sheriff’s deputies stopped the driver of a silver Nissan Maxima on East Sumner Street in Jennings.
