LAKE ARTHUR – Funeral services for Mr. Christopher Lynn Clement Jr., 24, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Arthur with Rev. Ronald Groth officiating.
Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur.
Visitation will be held today, Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, from 11 a.m. until the time of services on Saturday. A rosary will be recited Friday evening at 7 p.m.
Mr. Clement died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at 11:45 a.m. in Lafayette.
Mr. Clement was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur and a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. He was president of Modern Style Car Club, past member of Deep South Customs and a member of Sons of the American Legion. He was employed as a filtration supervisor for MI Swaco, a former employee of Brandt/NOV, and a graduate of Lake Arthur High School Class of 2008.
He is survived by his parents, Christopher Lynn Sr. and Sherry Hebert Clement of Lake Arthur; his maternal grandmother, Martha Hebert of Gueydan; a sister, Sierra Johnson of Lake Arthur; his fiancee, Whitney Burkholder of Lake Arthur; his godmother, Phyllis Vincent of Egan; his godfather, Bryan Bougard of Houma; his godchild, Vanessa Hebert of Crowley; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Austin and Margie Clement; and his maternal grandfather, Bradley Hebert.
