Mrs. Keith ( Laura Ann) Roy

A Mass of Christian burial will be held for Mrs. Keith (Laura Ann) Roy, 82, at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with the Very Reverend Anthony Fontenot officiating.

Burial will be in  Andrus Family Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, from 2-9 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. led by Deacon Bennett McNeal. Visitation on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, will be from 8 a.m. until the time of services.

Mrs. Roy was a native and lifelong resident of Jennings. She was a homemaker; a former co-owner of Direct Distributors of Louisiana; and a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. She loved to cook, have family gatherings and take trips to Mexico to go flea marketing.

Mrs. Roy is survived by her husband, Keith Roy Sr.; three daughters, Phyllis (Charles) Hollier of Prairieville, Deborah (Mike) Duplantis of Lake Arthur and Susan Roy Moreau of Baton Rouge; three sons, Ernie (Pam) Roy of Jennings, Patrick (Shelly) Roy of Jennings and Keith (Judy) Roy Jr. of Crowley; three sisters, Hortense (Edward) Smith, Rose Marie (Lee James) Clement and Mae Tygrett, all of Jennings; nine grandchildren, Natalie K. (Thomas) Hanks, John Paul (Heidi) Dulpantis, Courtney Duplantis, Christopher (Heather) Hollier, Brandi L. (Chris) Brown, Nicholas and Sarah Roy, Katelyn and Kristen Roy; and five great-grandchildren, Emma G. Hanks, Syndi Faye and Lane Michael Duplantis, Alissa K. Hollier and Drew A. Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Doris Ortego Andrus; a grandson, Patrick Kade Roy; a sister, Rita Andrus Lowery; and three brothers, George Andrus, Henry L. Andrus and Sidney Andrus.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Roy, Keith Roy Jr., Nicholas Roy, John Paul Duplantis, Chris Hollier and Michael Duplantis.
