Mrs. Lillian Jennette Tucker Moore
Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Jennette Tucker Moore, 80, were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, in Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Mitchell Gotte officiating.
Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
Funeral home visitation was held from 4-8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, and continued from 8 a.m. today, Tuesday, Jan. 8, until time of services.
Mrs. Moore died at 9:25 p.m., Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, in Jennings American Legion Hospital.
Mrs. Moore was a lifelong resident of Evangeline and was a member of First Baptist Church of Evangeline.
Survivors include four step-daughters, Shirley (James) Caswell of Gillis, Beverly (Felix) Deshotel of Iota, Jeanelle (Herbert) Labouve of Port, Neches, Texas, and Belinda (Warren) Touchet of Sulphur; one sister, Janie Fontenot of Jennings; two brothers, Leo (Margarette) Tucker of Lafayette and Edward Ray (Sarah) Tucker of Texas City, Texas; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Edward and Mae Lizzie Coles Tucker; her husband, Alee Moore; and one sister, Alberta Tucker.
