WELSH – Ronald “Spook” Begnaud, 62, passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, in a Lafayette hospital.
His service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh. Deacon Wayne Chapman will officiate. Visitation was held Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, from 2-9 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. and will resume today, Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, from 9 a.m. unitl time of services. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his wife, Roxanne Davidson Begnaud; his sons, Jared Che’ Begnaud and Giles Begnaud; his daughters, Heather (Clint) Daigle and Starlet Begnaud; his mother, Donitille Begnaud; his sister, Sandra Fuselier; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Begnaud.
