James Ward Elementary students enjoyed popcorn and movies during a reward party Friday afternoon. Principal Suzanne Doucet said all students recently improved in at least one area on Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills (DIBELS) tests. DIBELS helps teachers determine which students may need additional literacy instruction to become better readers.
