Suspect charged for stealing $86K from elderly couple

A 35-year-old Jennings man has been arrested for scamming an elderly couple out of $86,000 over the last year.
Jennings Police Department (JPD) Deputy Chief Danny Semmes said city police recently arrested Harold Lee Vincent, 35, of Airport Road in Jennings on charges of theft of goods over $500 by fraud of the elderly. Vincent was booked into the Jeff Davis Parish Jail.
