Texas man arrested for burglary, property damage

ROANOKE – A Texas man is being charged with burglary and property damage after attempting to break into several vehicles in the parking lot of Peto’s Truck Stop in Roanoke on New Year’s Eve.
On Monday, Dec. 31, Jeff Davis Sheriff’s Office (JDSO) deputies responded to reports of a suspicious person at Peto’s Truck Stop, according to JDSO Criminal Investigations Commander Christopher Ivey.
