Traffic stop results in six pounds of pot seized

Six pounds of marijuana worth approximately $10,000 was seized by the Jennings Police Department (JPD) Tuesday night during a traffic detail on Interstate 10.
JPD Deputy Chief Danny Semmes said that Charles M. Wilson, 25, of New Orleans was pulled over by the department’s Directed Patrol Unit after committing a traffic violation on I-10 around 10 p.m. Tuesday.
