WELSH – Services for Vina Marie Demarest, 91, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh.
Visitation will begin Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at 9 a.m. with a rosary at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Seven Dolors Catholic Church Cemetery.
She passed away on Jan. 3, 2013, in a local care center.
She grew up on a farm and loved animals. She was a wonderful beautician. She was fun to be around and loved by many people, especially those at the care center.
Survivors include her step-daughter, Helen Timmerman; her step-grandchildren; her nieces; and her nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Demarest; her parents, Louis Quebodeaux and Arzelia Bellard; and a step-daughter, Jean Drews.
