Woods takes tenth year as Police Jury president

Police Juror Donald Woods was re-elected to his tenth year as Jeff Davis Parish Police Jury president on Wednesday.
“I am trying to keep this boat sailing straight in the right direction,” Woods said.
Woods was nominated by Police Juror Byron Buller and was re-elected by a 7-6 vote.
