APSO seeking animal cruelty suspect

CROWLEY – Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish is asking for the public’s help in solving a crime.

The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident that occurred on Jan. 27 at the Ag Farm located at Crowley High School.

During the evening hours, unknown suspect(s) entered the stalls at the Ag Farm. The suspect(s) killed a show pig and cut three other pigs in the stall. This cruel act has not only injured or killed an animal but cost the owners potential sales at the recent livestock show, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

If someone has information regarding this or any other crime, you are urged to call the tips line at (337) 789-TIPS 789-8477. All callers will remain anonymous and can receive up to a $1,000 cash reward.
