Bridge Closure Announced
Beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Feb.26, a timber bridge on La. 1123 (Riverside Road) in Acadia Parish will be closed to traffic, according to the Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD). The work will take approximately five days, weather permitting. The bridge site is approximately 2.2 miles from its south junction with La. 97. DOTD reminds drivers to operate vehicles with caution while traveling near the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
